Grade Level: 3rd grade
Synopsis of Unit One: The learner will create a basic PowerPoint program in order to present vocabulary definitions in an interesting way using basic PowerPoint techniques. Student skills: Open PowerPoint, save the file correctly, open a saved file, insert new slides, format slide type, slide design and background, format font (size, bold, italic, underline, type), insert text boxes, change any formatting, insert image from clip art or file, transitions.

Unit Title: Basic Excel Graphing
Grade Level: 3rd
Synopsis of Unit One: Students will learn to make graphs from dinner plans data. Student Skills: Open excel, save files and open previously saved files correctly, learn needed terms (cell, column, row, formula bar), create data tables from collected data, create graphs using excel chart option, format all aspects of a graph, change the type of graph, create a minimum of 4 different types of graphs (column, bar, line and pie).

Synopsis of Unit One: Students will use PowerPoint program to create a Technology Vocabulary PowerPoint. Skills students will learn include: all skills from the basic class, use custom animation, insert custom backgrounds, Action Buttons and hyperlinks to navigate within a program.
